Techniques to prevent maturity onset cataract, approaches to prevent or reduce oxidative stress, development of conditioned cell lines resistant to oxidative stress and investigation of their gene expression, transfection of key antioxidative genes into lens epithelial cell lines and examination of their resistance to stress, investigation of the evolution of the eye.
